Backup fail

    Ik gebruik WP Backup to dropbox om mijn website oosterourthe.nl te backuppen. Ik krijg echter de volgende foutmelding:

    Wat is hiervan de oorzaak en wat kan ik er aan doen?

    Ik zou eerst je vraag eens stellen op het forum/support gedeelte van de plugin pagina; https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/backup-with-restore

    Als tweede zou ik nagaan of je allicht over je diskspace van je hostingpakket heen bent.

    Hoi Ruurd, heb ondertussen de vraag gesteld aan de plugin ontwerper. Dit is zijn antwoord:

    1) Please ensure that the plugin has enough permissions to access the contents of some of the folder as shown on the error log.

    The plugin needs to temporarily write the SQL dump to the file system. In order to do this it will need write permissions.

    If your WordPress folders are assigned to the same user as Apache then you can get away with just a ‘655’, if it’s running in the same group then you’ll need ‘665’ and if it’s on its own then you’ll need full perms, eg ‘666’.

    Please make changes to the permissions, you can contact your host on the best way of going about this.

    2) Please try to increase your PHP max_execution_time and memory_limit just to make sure the process will not get interrupted.

    3) Also, please try and do a fresh install of the plugin and see if the issue persists.

    Nou voor mij is dit Chinees :-). Als ik het goed begrijp, moet ik eerst de permissies nagaan. Echter, voor enkele andere websites, die allemaal bij one.com gehost zijn, is er geen probleem, en voor zover ik kan zien, is de SQL dump wel met succes gebackupt.

    Dus, wat bedoelt ie met die 655 en 666? + Hoe kan ik mijn PHP max_execution_time and memory_limit verhogen?
