WooCommerce

Omschrijving

Verkoop alles, overal.

With WooCommerce, you can sell both physical and digital goods in all shapes and sizes, offer product variations, multiple configurations, and instant downloads to shoppers, and even sell affiliate goods from online marketplaces.

With premium extensions, you can offer bookings, memberships, and recurring subscriptions. Perhaps you’d like to sell monthly subscriptions for physical goods, or offer your members a discount on digital downloads? It’s all possible.

Verzend waarheen je maar wil

Offer free shipping, flat rate shipping, or make real-time calculations. Limit your shipments to specific countries, or open your store up to the world. Shipping is highly configurable, and WooCommerce even supports drop shipping.

Uitgebreide betalingsmogelijkheden

WooCommerce comes bundled with the ability to accept major credit cards, PayPal, BACS (bank transfers), and cash on delivery. Need additional options? More than 140 region-specific gateways integrate with WooCommerce, including popular choices like Stripe, Authorize.Net, and Amazon Payments.

Jij beheerd alles — altijd

WooCommerce gives you complete control of your store, from taxes to stock levels to customer accounts. Add and remove extensions, change your design, and switch settings as you please. It’s all under your control.

One of the biggest risks of using a hosted eCommerce platform is what happens to your store if the provider closes up shop. With WooCommerce, you have complete control, so there’s never any reason to worry. Your data belongs to you — and it’s kept secure, thanks to regular audits by industry leaders.

Je eigen stijl met Storefront

Storefront is a free WordPress theme available to any WooCommerce store. Along with deep WooCommerce integration, Storefront prioritizes speed and uptime while eliminating theme and plugin conflicts during major updates.

Define your style even further by customizing Storefront to your liking or choosing from one of our several Storefront child themes. It’s all up to you, and all open source.

Gebouwd met developers in gedachten

Extendable, adaptable, and open source — WooCommerce was created with developers in mind. With its strong, robust framework, you can scale your client’s store all the way from basic to high-end (infinity and beyond).

Built with a REST API, WooCommerce can integrate with virtually any service. Your store’s data can be accessed anywhere, anytime, 100% securely. WooCommerce allows developers to easily create, modify, and grow a store that meets their specifications.

No matter the size of the store you want to build, WooCommerce will scale to meet your requirements. With a growing collection of more than 300 extensions, you can enhance each store’s features to meet your client’s unique needs — or even create your own solution.

Minimale vereisten

  • PHP version 5.2.4 or greater (PHP 5.6 or greater is recommended)

  • Sommige betaalgateways hebben fsockopen-support nodig (voor IPN-toegang)

Automatische installatie

Dummy data

WooCommerce comes with some dummy data you can use to see how products look; either import dummy_data.xml via the WordPress importer or use our CSV Import Suite plugin to import dummy_data.csv and dummy_data_variations.csv.

Beoordelingen

Automatically updates a major version – breaking site

WC 3.0 is not compatible with all checkout plugins yet (or the other way around actually), however, it now pushes updates to 3.0.x automatically, breaking sites. Changelog does not clearly show critical updates.

I love WooCommerce, but continued support for previous major versions is essential, as long as 3.0 breaks sites.

Great plugin!

WooCommerce is easy to use, full of features and it has a multitude of great tutorials online that are free.

Intuative design

Excellent design with everything needed to launch a small business e-commerce site. Packed with full featured tools perfect for the first timer or seasoned pro.

Had to downgrade to 2.6.14 to get my website working again

I had my website set for automatic updates (foolish decision), and I use the stock Storefront theme; no child themes.

After the upgrade to 3.0 (which I had no idea happened until customers started complaining), I noticed that the lightbox had stopped working, and also the “sell individually” checkbox stopped working: every product now had a box to select an order amount. These are more than just cosmetic issues that should not have changed with the upgrade, especially with the stock theme.

More importantly, NO ONE was able to download the files they ordered from me. Even after disabling every plugin, no downloads were being offered after payment was accepted. Even worse, products could not be updated or deleted. (I’d get something like a “value must be greater than 0” error on products when I tried to update, and could not find ANYWHERE the value was less than 0.) I lost 30% of my customers because of anger and frustration that they didn’t receive their files promptly–you can’t regain that kind of lost trust.

I gave refunds to those who didn’t immediately contact their CC company to dispute the charges I placed on their account for product not delivered, but it was too late: one of the credit card processors has put me on a blacklist because of chargebacks.

Without a WooExperts contract, I wasn’t sure if I would get the critical emergency help I needed, so I did my best to fix things on my own without reporting the bugs, as I was hemorrhaging customers and getting bad buzz on social media that was spiraling out of control.

By deleting my store, reinstalling the 2.6.14, and importing from a backup, and turning off automatic updates, I was able to salvage 80% of my store, and it is back to operating condition. But now I have to reclaim my business reputation, as the upgrade totally destroyed it.

I was making headway against my competition and was showing a lot of promise in my chosen market, but this upgrade sabotaged the trust and like factors so important to developing repeat customers. I gave WooCommerce my trust when I moved from Ecwid to get more features and functionality, and I have been let down. I am a single-person operation and cannot afford WooExperts or a full-time web guru to manage things. I have to do everything myself, and I chose WooCommerce because it appeared intuitive enough for me (as someone comfortable with Ecwid) to use and more flexible. Now my business has suffered a severe setback and I am faced with a serious question: do I fight, struggle, and scrap again to reclaim my lost audience, or do I quietly give up, cut my losses and shut down my store?

  • Redirect to login after password reset.

  • Automatically sort tax rates rather than allow clunky manual sorting.
  • When deleting a tax rate class, remove it’s tax rates.
  • Made WC_Logger pluggable via wc_get_logger function.

  • Show better labels in nav menus metabox.

  • Add reply-to to admin emails.

  • Performance – Removed WP_Query from up-sells.php and related.php and replaced with PHP foreach loop (since we already have the product IDs).
  • Performance – Removed the feature where old orders get access to new downloads on product edit. Looping potentially thousands of orders to do this is too much of a performance burden for stores and this can sometimes be unexpected behavior too. This does however updates edited downloads.

  • Performance – Deferred email sending for faster checkouts. Now uses CRON.
  • API – New Rest API v2 with support for meta_data amongst other things.

  • Localization – Added inline comments for placeholder strings.
