Beschrijving
WooCommerce’s “menu order” is global: one product has one position, whatever the category. This plugin gives each category its own curated product order:
- A dedicated screen (Products Category sort): pick a category, then order its products by drag & drop (thumbnail handle) or by typing position numbers — convenient for large categories.
- The order applies on the category page in front, unless the visitor selects an explicit sort (price, popularity…) — their choice always wins.
- Products without a saved position follow, sorted by menu order then title.
- One term meta per category, no extra tables; uninstalling cleans everything.

FAQ
Does it change the default shop or search order?
No. Only category archives are affected, and only when the “default sorting” is active.
Does it work with the Products (blocks) templates?
The order applies to classic WooCommerce category archives (the
woocommerce_product_querypipeline). Product Collection blocks configured with their own sort are not affected.Is there a limit?
The sorting screen loads up to 1000 products per category by default (filter
wcsw_products_limit).
