SiteOrigin CSS

Omschrijving

SiteOrigin CSS is the simple, yet powerful CSS editor for WordPress. It gives you visual controls that let you edit the look and feel of your site in real-time.

We’ve created a site editing experience that will suit both beginners and advanced users alike. Beginners will love the simple visual controls and real-time preview. Advanced users will love the code autocompletion that makes writing CSS faster than ever.

Inspector

The hardest part of editing your site’s design using CSS is usually finding the correct selector to use. The powerful inspector that comes with SiteOrigin CSS makes this easy. While viewing a full preview of your site, just click on an element and it’ll help you identify the best selector to use to target that element.

The Inspector will help you even if you have no idea what a CSS selector is.

Visual Editor

Don’t like playing around with code? No problem. SiteOrigin CSS has a set of simple controls that make it easy to choose colors, styles and measurements. Combined with the Inspector, you’ll be able to make changes in just a few clicks.

CSS Editor

SiteOrigin CSS has a powerful CSS editor, the likes of which you’d usually only expect from high-end IDEs. It has autocompletion for both CSS selectors and attributes. It also features very useful CSS linting that’ll help you identify issues in your code before you publish your changes.

It’s Free

We’re committed to keeping SiteOrigin CSS, free. You can install it on as many sites as you like without ever worrying about licensing. All future updates and upgrades will be free, and we even offer free support over on our friendly support forums.

Beoordelingen

Verify your CSS easily

I use this plugin on every site to build CSS visual effects very easily, thanks to the visual builder. Once my website is finished, I copy/paste the CSS code in the style.css sheet then delete the plugin. That's why I love it, I can use it, then delete it for a less heavy website. A must have.

Awsome for beginners

That pluing is really good for the ones who are starting and don't that much how to code, or even, the ones who know it and like a little less work to do.

Outstanding!

Extremely useful! I know nothing of CSS and every small change was a pain without this. The plugin allows to identify what to change super easily; you can then either change it visually or handwriting css.

Very good but not perfect

First of all, thank you for creating this plugin. I like it, but I miss some features. Is it possible to add them to your plugin? 1. custom width of the sidebar-editor (it's to narrow) 2. Multiple CSS Files (and css-bundler) 3. CSS minifier Additional infos: The editor doesn't know the CSS-Style "background-position-x" and "background-position-y". (Unknown Property "...") Regards

Was not intuitive enough

I think this plugin is awesome based on reviews from people who got it, but I did not want to spend a lot of time learning it as a plugin so I cannot give it my own high mark. I started to get it to work, but found myself guessing or making errors and afraid I'd get myself into an irreversible mess. This is not for us as a plugin to be that "easy". I'd give it 2 but we never got it to work even though it does work, we tested it on intuition based on a quick guide look first. Maybe come back later, more serious dragons to slay first, this was not what we thought even for beginners. We know CSS, but for this tool it just did not work out as first reading about it.
