MickSystems – Livre de Recettes helps French micro-entrepreneurs (auto-entrepreneurs) keep their legally required chronological income ledger (“livre de recettes”, articles 50-0 and 102 ter of the French General Tax Code) directly from their WordPress dashboard, instead of a spreadsheet.
Main features
- Chronological income recording: date, amount, channel, description, payment method, document reference — the fields expected of a compliant income ledger.
- Expense tracking for cash-flow monitoring only (URSSAF contributions, payment processor fees…) — clearly labelled as having no effect on the micro-entrepreneur tax return, since expenses are not deductible under this regime.
- Fully customizable income channels and payment methods, no imposed list.
- Dashboard: VAT franchise threshold gauge (current French thresholds for goods sales and services), an evolving revenue goal tracker, income breakdown by channel, and year-over-year comparison.
- Automatic URSSAF deadline reminder, computed from the official rules (monthly: end of the following month; quarterly: April 30 / July 31 / October 31 / January 31), accounting for weekends and French public holidays.
- WooCommerce & SureCart import: bring in existing orders as income entries, with duplicate protection.
- CSV export and print-to-PDF of the income ledger, per year.
- Full change history: every income entry creation, edit, or deletion is logged and reviewable at any time.
- Optional period lock: once a period is closed, its entries can no longer be edited or deleted.
The plugin takes a guidance-first approach: it explains the applicable rules and helps the user make informed decisions, without ever replacing a qualified accountant for the decisions that require one.
Multi-year support
The plugin is built to follow an activity across several years: year navigation on the Income, Expenses, and Dashboard screens, and automatic comparison with the same period the previous year.

FAQ
-
Does this plugin replace my accountant?
-
No. It helps you keep your chronological ledger and monitor your thresholds, but it does not replace personalized professional advice, particularly for specific situations (mixed activity, threshold breaches, corrections).
-
Is expense tracking taken into account in my tax return?
-
No. Under the French micro-entrepreneur regime, expenses are not deductible. The Expenses screen is for cash-flow monitoring only, which is stated on screen.
-
What happens if my activity is mixed (goods sales and services)?
-
Automatically determining the applicable VAT threshold would require splitting revenue by activity type, which the plugin does not yet do automatically in that case. A message invites you to check your thresholds manually.
-
Is my data deleted if I uninstall the plugin?
-
No, your income entries, expenses, and settings remain in the database even after the plugin is removed — a deliberate choice for a legal record-keeping tool, where accidentally losing the history would be worse than a small amount of leftover disk space.
