Easiest Popup Image/PDF is a lightweight and responsive WordPress plugin that displays a popup (modal overlay) with an image or PDF file. You can activate the popup on individual pages, show it only on the user’s first visit (with cookie logic), add a heading (H1), and optionally include a customizable call-to-action button.

Installatie
- Upload the plugin files to the
/wp-content/plugins/easiest-popup-image-pdfdirectory, or install via the WordPress plugins screen. - Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress.
- Go to the new menu entry “Easy JPG/PDF Popup” in the WordPress admin sidebar.
- Configure the popup:
- Activate/deactivate the popup
- Select an image or PDF from the Media Library
- Optionally add a heading, button text, and button link
- Choose on which pages the popup should be displayed
- Optionally set PDF height and first-visit-only logic
- Save your changes
- Visit the selected page(s) on your site – the popup will appear.

Does the popup work on posts or custom post types?

No, currently the popup only supports classic pages (no posts or custom types).

Can I use both an image and a PDF at the same time?

No, you can only choose one file per popup.

Does the plugin support translations?

Yes! Please use the provided .pot file to create your own translation.
