AI Provider for GitHub Models integrates GitHub Models as a cloud AI provider for the WordPress AI Client (WordPress 7.0+).
Once activated and configured with a GitHub Personal Access Token, the plugin registers GitHub Models as a provider — giving you access to models like GPT-4.1, Llama, Mistral, and more directly from your WordPress site.

Requirements

Installatie
Using The WordPress Dashboard
- Navigate to Plugins Add New Plugin
- Search for “AI Provider for GitHub Models”
- Install and activate the plugin
- Go to Settings Connectors and enter your GitHub Personal Access Token
Using FTP
- Extract ‘ai-provider-for-github-models.zip’ to your computer
- Upload the ‘ai-provider-for-github-models’ directory to your ‘/wp-content/plugins/’ directory
- Activate the plugin on the WordPress Plugins dashboard
- Go to Settings Connectors and enter your GitHub Personal Access Token
