Widget’s bewerken weergeeft veel foutmeldingen en werkt niet

    Hi allemaal,

    In de widgeteditor van mijn WordPress website krijg ik heel veel foutmeldingen en lukt het niet om nieuwe widgetgebieden te creëren. De foutmeldingen die ik krijg zijn:
    Het blok "nav_menu" is beïnvloed door fouten en kan mogelijk niet goed functioneren. Bekijk de ontwikkelaar gereedschappen voor meer details

    Ook lijkt het alsof de blokken in de widgetgebieden oneindig blijven laden, er doet zich een 500 error voor of WordPress weergeeft gelijk dat er zich een kritieke fout heeft opgedaan.

    Ik word er allemaal niet veel wijzer van en hoop dat één van jullie mij verder kan helpen dit probleem op te lossen. Sinds de laatste WordPress update lukt het mij namelijk niet om iets aan te passen binnen de widget editor van WordPress.

    Hoi Ray,

    Mogelijk zijn de plugins waarvan je widgets gebruikt niet geschikt / up-to-date. Ikzelf heb de plugin Classic Widgets geinstalleerd die de “oude” situatie weer terugzet.

    @guido07111975 Die had ik ook geïnstalleerd, kijkende of dat het probleem oploste, maar helaas werkt het bij mij niet.

    Uit het foutlog maak ik op dat er een proces is dat al je geheugen verbruikt (Cannot allocate memory). Vaak is een conflict met plugins en/of je thema de oorzaak. Je zou je plugins 1 voor 1 kunnen de-activeren om er achter te komen of een plugin dit veroorzaakt.

    Ik zie dat je het premium thema Extra gebruikt, support daarvoor kun je bij de developer vragen. Wij hier hebben geen toegang tot dit thema.

    Dag allen,

    Helaas heb ik hetzelfde probleem. Bij mij geeft de widget-editor (na poging tot opslaan) een melding van ongeldige JSON. Op een vergelijkbare site heb ik dit net ook geprobeerd: op 5.8 lukte het wel om widgets te bewerken, onder 5.8.1 krijg ik dezelfde melding.

    Nu ben ik ook direct tot de ontdekking gekomen dat het niet (heel eenvoudig) mogelijk is om de core-versie van WordPress te downgraden… 😅

    Ook ik gebruik Divi, maar het probleem lijkt dus te zijn ontstaan vanaf WordPress 5.8.1

    Hoi Peter,

    Downgraden is (zoals je vast zelf ook wel weet) niet slim, updates zijn er niet voor niets. Heb je al op het forum van DIVI gekeken, of daar al tickets hierover open staan?
    En heb je zelf je plugins al 1 voor 1 gedeactiveerd, misschien veroorzaakt een andere plugin het wel.
