ik zie dat ik kan metatags kan invoegen in index.php.
is het waar ?hoe ik kan deze metatags invoegen en wat zou de voordeel ervan zijn ?

Hallo,
Bedoel je meta keywords, of meta descriptions? Die laatste zijn zeker zinnig om toe te voegen. Ik raad wel aan om met een seo plugin te werken zoals Yoast en niet zelf iets aan je code aan te passen.

is that moeilijk om bepaalde html tags of meta keywords in te voegen in php bestand!
johannesKeywords toevoegen in de php bestanden van je thema geeft je dezelfde meta keywords voor je gehele site gezien de pagina’s dynamisch worden gegenereerd. Met een plugin kan je per pagina/bericht de keywords instellen (en ook makkelijker aanpassen indien nodig).

ik zat net te lezen in metatags.nl over hoe ik kan metatags maken en ik zie dat ik moet eerst kopie maken van mij website en dan index html downloaden via ftp bewerken( metatags in head section zetten)en uploaden zo ik moet voor iedere web pagina van mij metatags maken , maar ik zie ook ze hebben ook kant klaar software net als yoast wat denkt u ervan?
johannesMetatags.nl gaat uit van een statische HTML site. In geval van WordPress ga je dus niks hebben aan die uitleg.
WordPress werkt met een dynamische taal (PHP) waardoor er geen individuele HTML pagina’s zijn, ze worden ‘gegenereerd’ wanneer een bezoeker de site bekijkt.
(Dit is een vereenvoudigde uitleg, als je meer wil weten kan je online heel wat info vinden over PHP en mySQL)Als je manueel meta tags wil toevoegen – wat ik afraad, voor de duidelijkheid! – moet je die plaatsen in je thema’s header.php, bovenaan in de <head> tag.
