installation works according to WP, not according to me …

    Dear All,

    I bought a theme from themeforest, installed it succesfully according to WP, but the preview shows a blank and after activation all o WP goes blank and I can only use WP again after deleting the theme files. Regular WP-themes work fine and WP itself also

    These works fine on a server I installed it earlier on..

    What can this be? please help..

    tried changing the config.php to – define(‘WP_DEBUG’, true);
    but that result in the follwing error

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION or T_VAR or ‘}’

    Could be caused by the version of PHP your host is running, see this post

    according to the provider php5 is running

    the error Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION or T_VAR or ‘}’

    is in wordpress/wp-content/themes/rend/functions/metaboxes.php on line 58

    deleting that file starts to show a part of the theme and if I delete the reffering line (include ‘functions/metaboxes.php’;) in the functions.php the the shows complete, but wp doesn’t work any more

    where line 58 in metaboxes.php = protected $_meta_box;
