Extended forum

Hi,
I’m making a website where people can post ideas/content which other people can like and comment on. But I’m struggling finding the right plugin where people can post their content/idea. I want to let it look like ideas/products on Kickstarter (so people can post pictures etc. on their post). But I want it without the funding part. Sort of an forum but more extended. Do you know the right plugin for me? It would help me a lot!
