By offering your customers the opportunity to purchase a gift card that can be redeemed in your store, you can gain new customers (those who receive the gift card will know about your products and place an order, which means you will be able to push them to buy again and build their loyalty over time) and significantly increase your revenue.

Hoe werkt het?

Je hoeft de plugin alleen te installeren, je eerste cadeaubon aan te maken, en deze te publiceren: een proces van enkele minuten waardoor je direct kan beginnen met het aanbieden van cadeaubonnen aan klanten.

De gebruikersinterface is erg eenvoudig en geïnspireerd door die van Amazon: je klanten kunnen een van de door je ingestelde bedragen kiezen, een afbeelding selecteren om de cadeaubon aan te passen (onze plugin is de enige die je in staat stelt om een onbeperkte afbeeldingengalerij te uploaden!), de gegevens van de ontvanger invoeren, een bericht toevoegen en tot slot de cadeaubon kopen zoals elk ander product in je webwinkel.

Hoofdfuncties

  • Create unlimited virtual gift cards. A virtual gift card will be sent to the recipient email address
  • Create unlimited physical gift cards with one or multiple fixed amounts. Physical gift cards can be printed and shipped to the customers
  • The admin can create, edit and disable the gift cards manually from the backend
  • Create a gallery of images to assign to specific gift cards or specific categories of gift cards. (Example: Christmas, Thanksgiving, Wedding, etc.)
  • The user can enter the sender’s name and a customized message
  • The user can choose one of the images available in the gallery
  • Send automatically the gift card via email to the recipient
  • The admin can verify the email sending status of the gift code
  • Show the ‘apply gift card code’ form in Cart and Checkout pages
  • Allow user to use the gift card to pay the order even if its balance doesn’t cover the total amount
  • Allow user to use the gift card as many times as they want, based on the available balance
  • Allow the user to verify the status and the amount of the gift cards he/she owns

Installatie

Belangrijk: Eerst moet je de WooCommerce plugin downloaden en activeren om YITH WooCommerce Gift Cards te laten werken.

  1. Unzip het gedownloade zip bestand.
  2. Upload de plugin map in de folder wp-content/plugins/ van je WordPress site.
  3. Activeer YITH WooCommerce Gift Cardsr vanaf Plugins pagina.

Instellingen

YITH WooCommerce Gift Cards zal een nieuw tabblad toevoegen genaamd “Gift Cards” in het “YITH Plugins” menu. Daar vindt je alle YITH plugins en snelle toegang tot de plugin instellingen.

FAQ

Naar welk e-mailadres wordt de cadeaubon gestuurd?

De cadeaubon wordt gestuurd naar de e-mail van de ontvanger gedefinieerd door de klant of naar het factuure-mail adres van de koper.

Welk format zal worden gebruikt voor het verzenden van de code?

Het default formaat van de gegenereerde code is ****-****-****-**** en het zal bestaan uit letters en figuren.

Kan ik het format dat ik heb gebruikt bewerken?

Ja, het formaat kan worden bewerkt in de plugin instellingen.

Waarom heb ik geen e-mail met cadeaubon code ontvangen?

De cadeaubon code wordt alleen gegenereerd wanneer de order status naar ‘verwerken’ of ‘afgerond’ wijzigt, deze zal dan worden verstuurd naar het ingevoerde e-mailadres.

Wat gebeurt er als de klanten minder dan de totaalwaarde van de bon besteden?

Elke keer dat een cadeaubon wordt gebruikt, zal het beschikbare saldo worden bijgewerkt en als er iets over is, kan dit worden gebruikt voor toekomstige aankopen.

Gift cards are not being added to the carrt on mobile version. No support from the creators. I spent hours on it. It was working even for a while but then suddenly the whole problem pop up again. The purchase process is working very well on desktops, but it's totally crap on mobiles. There is clearly some bug (free version). When you set up your image gallery for your gift cards it is visible on desktop, but mobiles doesn't even see the changes has been made. Do you want my money for it? Then don't do free version of your plugin. I hope it's working on premium version. If it's not, then you really should not do what you do at all.

It is a horrible mess

I bought the premium version. From the beginning the problems started. I asked for support and gave them the credentials to access Wordpress admin panel. Now inexplicably the entire Wordpress installation was deleted. IT IS INCREDIBLE.

Double charged with 2 plugins Gift Cards and Dynamic Pricing 2 x 129,90 euro in 3 days without receiving the "RENEW SUBSCRIPTION EMAIL" or some notification where it's writing that THEY WILL CHARGE my credit card, and btw WHY IS AUTO RENEW ON ? the client should set that up, not YITH I will give 0 stars but unfortunately I can't. I see other people have the same problem... and also the plugin need custom setup because they work only maybe with there themes but with other you need to CSS NEVER AGAIN !

Adoro al equipo, tienen muy buena disposición. 🙂 Además el plugin funciona muy bien, incluso en su versión gratuita. Es primera vez que escribo una reseña porque realmente merece la pena. Muy bueno!

Never working as expected

119€ for a plugin which just never works perfectly without hacky workarounds. Seems not work with Ajax-add-to-cart which is an important UX feature. Calculation in order backend not working correct. Some "updates" caused fatal errors and I had to roll back to previous versions. I am tired of creating tickets. I am not your quality testing department. This is not a free extension and it feels like wasted time. I will move on with an alternative solution.
