Installatie
1. Installeer de WordPress Plugin
1.1 Zoek de “WP-Whydonate” plugin op in het “Nieuwe plugin” menu en klik ‘Nu installeren’.
Of Upload “whydonate-donation-plugin.php” naar de ‘/wp-content/plugins/’ map.
1.2 Activeer de plugin via het ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress.
2 Verbind deze plugin met je WhyDonate account 2.1 Voer je WhyDonate API-sleutel in het gegeven invoerveld in. Om je invoersleutel te krijgen, open je WhyDonate profiel en klik op het “API Key” menu. Hier kun je een nieuwe API-sleutel genereren. 2.2 Als je nog geen WhyDonate lid bent, meld je aan op https://whydonate.com/en/ en volg de bovenstaande stap.
***3 Widget instellen **
3.1 Maak een nieuwe widget aan door de geldinzamelactie en de stijl te selecteren.
3.2 Mocht je nog geen geldinzamelactie hebben aangemaakt, doe dat dan eerst.
4. Plaats de widget op jouw website
Kopieer de ‘Shortcode’ van de widget die je wilt plaatsen en plak deze direct op de pagina. Een shortcode ziet er als volgt uit: [whydonate id=abcd].
5 Pas je widgets aan
5.1 Je kunt de widgets aanpassen zodat ze verschillende fondsenwervers of stijlen hebben die eraan gekoppeld zijn. Al je widgets kunnen worden bekeken in de linkerzijbalk > WhyDonate > Widgets
5.2 Je kunt de stijlen van de knop aanpassen op basis van de branding of het kleurenschema van je site. Al je plugin stijlen kunnen worden bekeken in de linkerzijbalk > WhyDonate > Styling.
