The Ankyler widget allows you to create a link with an image to a page, post or custom post from a widget area. \nYou can add a title, image and text to the link if you want.<\/p>\n\n

The text of the link itself is customizable.<\/p>\n\n

The widget can be used by itself or as a set of images and or texts for usage in a slider.<\/p>\n\n\n

  1. Use WordPress' built-in installer<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n

    or<\/p>\n\n

    1. Download ankyler.zip<\/code> onto your local computer.<\/li>\n
    2. Go to your WordPress Dashboard and select Plugins >> Add New<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
    3. Click on the Upload<\/strong> option at the top and select the ankyler.zip file<\/code> you just downloaded.<\/li>\n
    4. Click on Install<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n

      And continue with:<\/p>\n\n

      1. Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress.<\/li>\n
      2. Use the newly added widget from the left column in the 'Appearance - Widgets' page<\/li>\n
      3. Drag the widget to a desired sidebar<\/li>\n
      4. Open the widget and enter a title, a description, select an image.<\/li>\n
      5. Select a link from the pages and posts dropdown or type an custom (external) link.<\/li>\n
      6. Hit save.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n
