WooCommerce Blocks

WooCommerce Blocks are the easiest, most flexible way to display your products on posts and pages! Using the original “Products Block”, your displayed products can be filtered by category, sale status, or a variety of other fields. You can even make a custom list of hand-picked products to display.

New for 1.2.0: We’ve added a stand-alone Product Category block to simplify the experience and improve the category search and selection UI. Be on the lookout for additional stand-alone blocks in future releases.

Automatic installation

Automatic installation is the easiest option as WordPress handles the file transfers itself and you don’t need to leave your web browser. To do an automatic install of this plugin, log in to your WordPress dashboard, navigate to the Plugins menu and click Add New.

In the search field type “WooCommerce Gutenberg Products Block” and click Search Plugins. Once you’ve found this plugin you can view details about it such as the point release, rating and description. Most importantly of course, you can install it by simply clicking “Install Now”.

Manual installation

The manual installation method involves downloading the plugin and uploading it to your webserver via your favourite FTP application. The WordPress codex contains instructions on how to do this here.

Sample data

WooCommerce comes with some sample data you can use to populate the products and get started building Products blocks quickly and easily. You can use the core CSV importer or our CSV Import Suite plugin to import sample_products.csv.

Does not work at all

I’ve lost Gutenberg blocks in WooCommerce updating Gutenberg. I hoped it come back with this plugin. Nope, it’s totally useless.
Let’s see what will happen with WP5.

Doesn’t Work

I’m using WordPress version 4.9.8, and the rest of the server requirements are met. When doing a search for this block, it is not found.

Doesn’t work

Have tried this in a very vanilla wordpress install using Gutenberg both in 2017 theme and the storefront woocommerce theme and doesn’t offer any options in the page editor. I can only assume its broken. On the support forum in WordPress.org there seem to be a few similar comments and they have gone unanswered.

Great potential, doesn’t find majority of products in DB

Plugin has great potential and the way it inserts products looks great, but for a site with a lot of products it feels like 90% of them cannot be found.

I think as another comment said, the plugin only searches for the last 75-100 recent products to be added.

I also found that typing anything into product search box causes Guttenberg to do an autosave, this also seems to cripple the plugin from being able to find any products whilst the autosave is in progress.
