In a side by side test using GTMetrix, Video Embed Optimizer saved 602KB off of the page size as well as increased the page load time by 5 milliseconds.

A new button is added to the WordPress editor. Click the button to open a window to drop your YouTube or Vimeo URL. 
In the modal window, drop your YouTube or Vimeo URL and press Submit. 
After pressing submit, the shortcode will be generated. 
After updating the page you can see on the front end it properly embeds the video.

Installatie
- Upload the plugin files to the
/wp-content/plugins/plugin-namedirectory, or install the plugin through the WordPress plugins screen directly. - Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ screen in WordPress
