Installatie

  1. Go to Plugins Add New.
  2. Search for “sypher”.
  3. Click Install Now and then Activate.
  4. Adjust the settings on the Sypher Cookie Consent Settings page

Alternatively, you can install the plugin manually:

  1. Upload the sypher-cookie-consent directory to the wp-content/plugins directory
  2. Activate the plugin through the Plugins menu in WordPress
  3. Adjust the settings on the Sypher Cookie Consent Settings page

  • Faster page loading: the banner styles no longer block the page from rendering
  • Improved compatibility with caching and optimization plugins (WP Rocket, Autoptimize, LiteSpeed Cache, SiteGround Optimizer, W3 Total Cache and Jetpack Boost): the consent scripts are no longer combined, minified, deferred or delayed, so the cookie consent banner works properly
  • The consent scripts now load before other scripts on the page
  • New option (in the “Performance” section of the settings page, off by default) to load the consent scripts with defer, for websites where every script that needs consent starts later
  • Improved compatibility with sites using a Content Security Policy
  • The website UUID is now validated when saving the settings, and an error message is shown if it is invalid

  • A notice suggests enabling the PixelYourSite integration when PixelYourSite is active
