This plugin allows you to verify your website with Pinterest by inserting a meta tag on your front page (no coding required).

It simply outputs the verification meta tag for Pinterest to recognize your website as instructed at http://business.pinterest.com/verify/.

Now pinners will see the verification checkmark AND grant you access to Pinterest’s free analytics!

That’s all there is to it!

Installatie

1. Admin Search

  1. In your Admin, go to menu Plugins > Add.
  2. Search for Pinterest Verify.
  3. Find the plugin that’s labeled Pinterest Verify.
  4. Look for the author name Phil Derksen on the plugin.
  5. Click to install.
  6. Activeer de plugin.
  7. A new menu item Pinterest Verify will appear under your Settings menu option.

2. Download & Upload

  1. Download the plugin (a zip file) on the right column of this page.
  2. In your Admin, go to menu Plugins > Add.
  3. Select the tab “Upload”.
  4. Upload the .zip file you just downloaded.

3. FTP Upload

  1. Download the plugin (.zip file) on the right column of this page.
  2. Unzip the zip file contents.

I was unable to verify my website for the LONGEST time and was using my Etsy shop page as a work around. One day I stumbled upon this plug-in and it was so freakin' easy to use. I can't believe I waited so long! Thank you.

Does It Work With Newest WordPress Updates?

I love the fact that this plugin exists; as a novice blogger & with code being something of a foreign language to me the fact that this cuts out the hard work is fantastic! I followed the 'as Admin' steps on the installation page & was able to successfully copy & paste the code from the meta tag into the relevant box, but on returning to the Pinterest site to click 'finish' it tells me that it's not gone through yet & that this sometimes takes up to an hour. It's been about 5 hours now & still no luck so I'm wondering whether the plugin is compatible with the latest version of WordPress; I'm currently running v.4.3.1 - are you able to advise as to whether this is why it won't work &/or if there is anything else I should do in order to verify successfully? Thanks again for developing the plugin & thanks in advance for any advice you may be able to give! Nick

Multiple domain issues

Pinterest claims that analytics only works connected to the main URL. I got it to work with another domain on the account. Then I moved it to another and it wouldn´t work. You might want to look in to that. I just verified with your plugin 5 minutes ago and nothing yet but I think it will in time by experience. Great plugin!
