A Chatim account is required. **Chatim API (https://api.chatim.app)** Used from the WordPress admin only: to sign in, list the sites in your Chatim account and connect one of them to this WordPress site. Data sent: your Chatim email and password at sign-in, a short-lived access token for the following requests, and the selected site ID. Yes. The free plan includes live chat, the chatbot builder and visitor tracking for one user. Paid plans add team members, Chatim AI, integrations and more. New accounts get a 14-day Pro trial without a card. ### Do I need a Chatim account? Yes. The plugin connects your WordPress site to your Chatim project; chats, chatbot flows and AI settings are managed in the Chatim dashboard at account.chatim.app. ### Does the widget slow down my site? No. The widget script loads asynchronously after your page content and does not block rendering, so it has no impact on Core Web Vitals. ### Does it work with WooCommerce, Elementor and other page builders? Yes. The widget is injected via `wp_enqueue_scripts`, so it works with any theme, WooCommerce and every page builder. ### Can the AI chatbot answer questions about my site? Yes. Add pages to the AI knowledge base by scraping a URL or your sitemap, or paste text. Chatim AI answers only from that content and hands off to a human, a contact form or closes the chat when it cannot help. ### Can I chat on WhatsApp, Telegram, Messenger or Instagram? Yes. Connect those channels in **Integrations** and messages arrive in the same inbox. The contact button with WhatsApp, Telegram, Messenger, Instagram, call and email links is included from the Pro plan. ### Is it GDPR compliant? The widget supports a consent mode that stores nothing for visitors from consent- required regions until they accept. Data is processed under Chatim’s privacy policy and DPA. ### I signed in but the site is not listed Create the site (project) in your Chatim dashboard first, then click **Refresh** in the plugin. You can also connect any site by pasting its Project ID from **Install** in the dashboard. ### I signed up with Google – how do I sign in from the plugin?
