Beschrijving
As of WordPress 4.4, the Get Shortlink button is hidden by default. This plugin brings it back. Yay.
Installatie
This plugin requires PHP 5.3.
- Upload the
bring-back-the-get-shortlink-buttonfolder to the/wp-content/plugins/directory on your web server. - Activate the plugin through the Plugins menu in WordPress.
- Find the Get Shortlink button just where it was before WordPress 4.4.

Ok, fixing the rating as I was mistaken.
If you have Jetpack it also keeps your short link button.

Sorry to say that not updates are fine in Wordpress ...
Short url is one of those things that will be helpful in making a link from another website without having a broken link when the page title changes for Seo reasons or ...
With this plugin the short url works again!
