Bezoek ‘Plugins > Nieuwe toevoegen’ 2. Zoek voor ‘bbPress’ 3. Activeer bbPress vanaf je Plugins pagina. (Je wordt begroet met een welkomst pagina.) #### Van WordPress.org 1. Download bbPress. 2. Upload de ‘bbpress’ map naar de ‘/wp-content/plugins/’ map, gebruik je favoriete methode (ftp, sftp, scp, enz…) 3. Activeer bbPress vanaf je Plugins pagina. (Je wordt begroet met een welkomst pagina.) #### Eenmaal geactiveerd 1. Ga naar ‘Forums > Voeg nieuw toe’ en maak een aantal forums aan. (Je kunt deze later altijd verwijderen.) 2. Als je mooie permalinks hebt ingeschakeld, ga je naar example.com/forums/ of als je geen mooie permalinks hebt ingeschakeld, ga je naar example.com?post_type=forum 3. Bezoek ‘Instellingen > Forums’configureer de instellingen die het beste aansluiten op de behoeften van je community. 4. Ga naar ‘ Extra > Forums > Importeer Forums ‘als je een bestaand forum hebt om te converteren naar bbPress. #### Eenmaal geconfigureerd * bbPress wordt geleverd met een robuuste thema compatibiliteits API die zijn best doet om bbPress er goed uit te laten zien en te laten voelen met zo ongeveer elk WordPress thema. Je kan nodig zijn om een aantal styling aan te passen op je eigen te maken alles er ongerept. * Misschien wil je de registratie/activering/login/vergeten wachtwoord flows aanpassen om beter bij je site te passen. bbPress wordt geleverd met een groot aantal shortcodes om dit mogelijk te maken, hier weergegeven: https://codex.bbpress.org/shortcodes/ * bbPress wordt ook geleverd met ingebouwde ondersteuning voor Akismet en BuddyPress, twee zeer populaire en zeer krachtige WordPress plugins. Support seems non-existent. I just tried to get help with breadcrumbs that were not showing up on my installation. A technical issue that I presented on their forum (bbpress.org). They didn’t answer me, they deleted my post and now I can’t post anything there anymore, I don’t even know what criteria led to this… well, maybe they are experiencing some technical difficulty, but they could at least let me know, leave a pinned post or send a message on the user profile… it is not safe to create a large forum on a platform whose managers act this way.
